motors/what can i build.....

so... i have an old 1/3hp motor, AND an old 1/6hp motor laying around... what should i build? right now, the only "power tools" i have are a 2x72 grizzley, a 1x20 grinder, and 2 drill presses..

the 1/3hp i found at a garage sale last year, guy had it set up to sharpen knives.... LOL..... i doubt he got anything too sharp the way it was.......

idea?
 
It's a little small, but you could mount a flat disc to that 1/3hp motor for truing up flats. Mine is running off of a 3/4hp motor.

Ide have to say they are to small I have a couple 1/3 hp they are like new but too small for any real work .
 
Although I do agree,that it is a little small for most things, I have a 1/3 hp off of an old gas pump,that I use on my buffer.It is all I have ever used,and for me works really well.I will say,if I try I can bog it down,but it will also snatch the knife from my hand.

i have been reading up on Wayne Goddards 1/3hp disc grinder.... i think that may be the ticket........
