My first try at a Hamon with W2 steel

This is one of my small hunters with W2 steel and a Hamon with a splated maple Handle.

Care to share how you did heat treat? I have two 4' pieces from Aldo that I ordered by accident and was getting around to using. Did you quench in warm oil? How long/many of a temper cycle was done?

Quenched in parks 50 oil . I did do 3 different thermal cycles I will send you my whole process if you'd like
