My second Bowie style knife

This is my second attempt at a Bowie and my first frame handle knife. My first Bowie was ok but it missed the mark. Something about the profile seemed wrong. I'm much happier with this one. There are many very fine knives that are labeled Bowie knives but this is my idea of what a Bowie should look like. The knife is 16 1/2" OAL with a 1/4" D2 blade. The handle is iron wood and lots of brass. I still need to make a sheath but it's been an interesting project. I'm having trouble getting good pics. Lighting seems to be an issue. These pics are the best I could take at the moment.
