Hi everyone,
A new and pretty different to my other knives that I have been working.
The Cathal design is now finish and I am impressed with the N690 stainless "Polished Micro Convex Edge", extremely sharp. That is a sharp knife.
Specs:
STYLE: Cathal.
STEEL: BOHLER N690 Stainless Steel.
GRIND: Sabre, Polished Micro Convex Edge.
BLADE LOOK: Acid-etched.
HANDLE: Contoured G10 Scales, Red Liner, Full Tang Construction.
HARDWARE: Black bolts.
SHEATH: Black kydex Sheath, Kydex Belt Loop, Optional Small TEK-LOK.
(218mm) 8.582" OAL.
(110mm) 4.330" maximum, from handle to tip.
(4,5mm) 0,177" thick.
ATTENTION: this is custom knives, not mass production knives.

BOHLER N690 stainless steel - a modern stainless steel designed for use in high performance blades. Great value in a corrosion resistant knife steel with excellent edge holding capabilities. Additions of chromium and vanadium enhance edge holding capability, while cobalt and carbon help to retain high hardness.
