--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I couldn't wait any longer. I did a little pipe fitting to get the forge ready to fire. I fired it up and stuck a piece of 1-3/4" shaft in and less than 10 minutes it was glowing yellow. There is absolutly no comparison to my old forge that just had castable refactory in it for lining over top of 2 layers of 1" kaowool. This one has 1 layer of kaowool and 2 thin layers of ITC-100. I am sold on the ITC-100 for sure. I cant wait to get my pidd controller hooked up to see how much heat is in that forge. I was running it at 6 psi and had to turn it down to 4 psi with the fan blowing full on.
I can't wait to heat some steel and squish it with "ORANGE CRUSH"
