I'm Fred Pittman; I live outside Pineville, La. I've been making fixed blade knives for almost 7 years now (I'm up to 226). I use mostly ATS 34 but now have gone to CPM154. I mostly use local woods, stabilized myself, on the handles but I do order exotics, bone, and antler. I make my own sheathes also. Most knives at this time are made on spec but I do take orders. I have attended the A. G. Russell knife show prior to it's closure and will be at the Little Rock show in Feb. for the third year.
