Hey guys, new guy here from upstate New York. I have been lurking for a while now and I have been thinking about building my first knife. I had a custom made knife that I recently lost and I'm pretty ticked off about it. Any insight on where to start my journey would be awesome. Thanks!

Kiss method, I've been reminded all too often to not to try too much at once. Try making a simple straight blade to start. Always remeber each knife is a learning experience. And most of all atleast one blade will get screwed up some how. I'm on 3 so far. Mainly due to using old faulty steel old planer blades. If you want a headache and annoying steel to try and work with let me know. Ill share with you. Lol Welcome to the pack. Alot of wisdom shared and a little ribbing along the way.
