No Weld Grinder Motor Question

I don't think 3600 rpm is too fast, if it's what you have. I'd look at what pulleys would have made me happy for an 1800 rpm motor. Then, just half the motor pulley or double the grinder side pulley, or some combo of the two. What ever you end up with, mount it up nice and solid to minimize vibration that makes it to your work.

Take care, Craig

the 3600 will work fine. Just watch the speed/heat on the small wheel bearings and you will be good.

Or just use a smaller pulley on the motor or bigger pulley on the driven shaft pulley.

I am using a 3600 rpm motor on my KMG.
