NWG.......Getting better

Well,I found me a 1 1/2 hp motor.My paw-in-law had 3 of them,that he said did not work,but I could have them.The one I used was making a little noise,but he said he had not used it very long.Well,all it was,was a bearing.I replaced both bearings,and it runs as good as it did new.

I also purchased a 8'' wheel off ebay,and having it bored out for bearings.If that goes well,I'll have it back next week,and I'll have my contact wheel.I'll let you all know how that comes out.

Thanks guys,I have enjoyed building this grinder.I know 2 hp with VS would be nice,and that maybe one day,but for now its 1 1/2 hp with 3 step pulleys,and I love it.I may look into the 4 step pulleys.Can someone tell me if they would help much?....Just a thought.
