Well, Not really, but you did ask why I didn't continue the file work into the handle on my other thread. :)

Well, I decided to give it a try. I did the reverse of what I have been doing. No file work on the blade, full file on the handle. I tried to get a picture but taking a picture didnt show it up very well, SO, Here is a short 50 second video.

I tried 2 new things on this knife and I like it so far. I'm still not sure wether I should fill all the file work with epoxy? Or try to keep all the epoxy out? What is the correct way to proceed or do both ways work? I'm leaning toward filling it with epoxy just so there are no rough edges in the handle.

Also It's killing me that I have nothing to put on this one for a handle except a piece of diamond wood in black and silver. Somehow it seems to need something else. Any suggestions?

Looking good! You've made a pile of nice knives in a short while and they keep getting better. Congrats!
 
I really didnt mean to be insulting, or hurtful. Your filework is very good.
I think filling with epoxy will make it look fantastic. Just sand it smooth when your finishing the scales after they are mounted.
You have a gift, let it loose!

Oh don't worry I was only kidding. I didn't take it as an insult in any way, you were very kind, I took it like you probably intended. As an open ended question. You said why? and I thought HMMMM why indeed? :)

Thank you Bowman. I have made a bunch of knives very quickly, I think I need to slow down now... I tend to rush everything because I want to see how it will turn out. :)
 
just my 2 cent,s here i like the file work filed with a colored epoxy to stand out ,in still a newby myself .as for handel,s any wood with figure gets my vote
