The wife came thru yesterday - she found this cutting board of Olive Wood from Italy for $15. Just look at the burl in that. While there is some areas on other side that doesn't have the burl, a good bit of it does. I'm working on cutting it up now for knife handles - that's what she purchased it for. Wants the wood on the set of steak knives I'm making for her now.

She didn't buy for me, she purchased for HER knives {g} Still, she did good. That woman never fusses at all about me buying knife supplies. She LOVES her knives. The first folder I made, she laid claim to it before it was even finished.

She must be in cahoots with my wife...I have yet to make my own knife .... She keeps claiming them before they are done.
