Hello Dog's & Doggett's!

I just finished this knife and delivered to the husband that was going to surprise his wife on Mothers day.

She already has three of my culinary knives and this one will almost complete the set.

Women tend to love smaller knives. This 6" model out sells my 8" Chef when the knife is for a lady.

This is my Chefette model, 6" Chef blade and a 5 1/2" handle.
Steel is CPM-S35vn
Handle of Stabilized California Buckeye.
Black & White liners.
Loveless type bolts
Rhino Head Mosaic pin.

The buckeye has some great translucent halo spots towards the butt end n both sides.

Beautiful knife that will no doubt perform very well. The Rhino mosaic pin is a cool accent. Did you make the Rhino pin?

Hi Jeff,
I had a neighbor & friend of mine that's a engineer extraordinaire take my rhino head logo and put it into a EDM cut length that I could slide into a tube and fill with epoxy to make my own Mosaic Logo pin. He job's out the work somewhere here in the USA?

Strangely enough & Totally unrelated as far as we can tell?
Someone here at knifedogs surfaced with a Maple Leaf and a Human skull along with another pattern made the same way. that they were offering for sale about a month or two after I received mine around Christmas time 2011.

I have always liked Mosaic pattern Terra Cotta tile , especially the first time I saw Mosaic pattern knife pins.
It's great to have my logo as a handle center pin. Even if my black logo etching ever wears off, They still have a reference to the maker.

Take Care! and say hello to your Monkey and Magic for me!

I think I may have to order one of them for my wife.. That thing is awesome looking . Well done L !

Thanks for the kind words.
When I started making culinary knives about 14 years ago, I was scoffed at by some, Even other knife makers.
Who would pay that for a kitchen knife? etc..

Times have changed.
