I just wrapped these two up today. These were commissioned by a friend of mine. He will be giving these to two young men who are serving in the mid-east. They'll both be back for their mid-tour leave between August and September.

Overall Length: ~12 1/2"
Blade Length: 7 1/8" Tip to scales

As a soldier, I can honestly say that I would be proud to carry one of these. It is a great looking bare bones user knife with no frills. Too often I see "combat knives" that have too much. If that makes sense. I personally like a field/combat knife that is designed for work, not to look cool sitting on a desk. You hit the nail on the head with these. Great Job!!!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments. These are a little bit of a variation of a knife I made last year for another soldier (the brother of the soldier one of these two is going to) . I wanted them to be similar, but not identical.

Bob - The blades are about 1 1/2" at the widest.
Murph - Thank you for the comments and for your service to our nation!
