I was thinking of the whole kit and caboodle from DD work rests. But thats a couple hundred I don't have at the moment.

The DD looks like it would do a good job and I understand the cost factor. That's one of the major reasons I chose the GIB as I can spread the costs out over a period of time. This week it was a motor, couple more weeks and I should be able to spring for the VFD.

Yours looks like it is really close to being able to remove some metal.

I just profiled and ground bevels on a blade since I last posted. Lol.

Bro... Words can't explain the difference between this set up and the 1x30 I was using. Definitely learning how to grind all over again. But its worth it. So much better.

Thanks brother. There's definitely a big difference between using a 1x30 and 2x72. But a couple blades and I should be getting cleaner lines again.
