polishing lanyard holes...

I notice a lot of unpolished lanyard holes going out the door. If you take a much smaller reamer or drill and put a little tuft of fine scotchbrite (maroon or gray) on it and run through the hole with it a few times the tubing will polish up real nice! if you stay at the chamfer it will smooth the transition to the bore of the tube. Makes for a real clean lanyard tube....only takes a minute.

I do the same Darrin and a wool mop with some alloy polish (auto sol here in NZ) followed by a bore jag with a patch to finish the job leaves a well polished tube.

Yup attention to detail ,I always chamfer and polish.I see so many unchamfered and ground flat with sharp edges .
