Putting Maker's Mark on Etched Damascus Blade

Well I etched my first damascus blade today. However I forgot to mark the blade before I etched it. Any ideas how I can mark it now?
I have the Personalizer. Anyone every use the personalizer on etch setting on damascus?

When i etch my name in a damascus blade ,after the damascus has been etched, i usually etch it on the back spine of the blade where the handle starts. I can buff a small spot and etch it , without detracting too much from anything else. I had to have a set of stencils made with my name in a straight line , and about 1/8 inch tall. Scott

I'm thinking about getting a stamp for damascus. If it is a dark etched blade you can sometimes do your mark a deep etch and leave the mark light and it looks pretty good.
