Quench plates

Aluminum bar I picked these up at the local scrap yard , bar measured 2.75 x 3.25 x 37 , cut it I into two 18.5 bars , what do we think?

They are big enough, but someone else will have to chime in as to quality. Nice find

Excellent. That's more than sufficient - if you have someone with a suitable bandsaw those are more than thick enough to split again into two ~1.375 thick sections 3.25" wide. Just curious how much you paid?

The bar ran me 39$ plus a 4$ cutting charge , left behind another 4 FT.
