Question Etching Damascus

Hello Everyone, I just Starting Making knife as hobby. I am starting to Venture into Damascus. Due to my country laws we do not have access to Any form of acids. i read up alot on using hot vinegar.
Any one with Experience using hot vinegar before?
btw, the Damascus steel im etching is 1095,15N20.

Js, can you get printed circut board etchant? Pcb solution is enviromentally friendly version of ferric chloride.
Thanks for sharing this steve. Beauty supply store is now added to the new materials supply store majoc sanding sticks too.

If you cannot get the circuit board etchant, try grapefruit juice, lemon juice, or any other citrus. I admit, it takes a while, but it's acid.
