OK here goes. When making a can of stainless Damascus. What stainless steals do you put in the can and what stainless powder do you fill the voids with?
Question from the cheap seats?

So far what I have found on my own is AEB-L and 304. Any help here would be awesome.

12C27 and thin pure nickel(.005), no powder, weld the can completely closed, drill a 1/16" hole and just weld it up.

The only place I found the 12c27 they are out of stock. Where else should I look.
