Nope...just lime green natural G10 .....no glowing unless you chop something radioactive.

I like that axe alot...i need to make myself one for camping trips. What are the dimensions on that handle...and where did you get a piece of G10 that long?

Whoa...sorry for the late response. That started as a piece of 2" X 1.5" X 18" piece of G10 that I got from McMaster Carr. I shaped it to match a the handle of a framing hammer I have.
