This year really got off to a great start in a lot of ways, here's some standouts of knives that have been commissioned.
This is a full custom piece based on my 7" chisel point tanto, with finger grooves, two control rings and a persuader style pommel, in 1/4" S30V with a gunmetal finish and black micarta.
I also did a pair of tantos in CPM 154CM, lengthened grip to account for hand size, mirror polish, frosted shield around the monograms, with 440C bolsters to allow me to etch an additional personal message at the butt. At an aircraft supply company, I found the 3/16" 440C pin stock rod to allow me to have them blend perfectly. This particular 4 3/4" blade pattern is growing on me and I'm working on a fully fileworked black Cambrian Granite piece as my time allows.
Earlier this year I also put together a pretty classy custom knife with several features the client enjoyed from my previous works, a full flat ground 4" wharncliffe blade, filework from tip to spine, and snakeskin sycamore handle scales.
Thanks for looking!
