"river eddy" pattern, ebony handle, Swedish-style blade

Here is one I have never shown in this forum. I just made (and sold!) it.

I like this style, and imagine that I will make more sort of like it in the future. The pattern welding was new to me, and I wanted something that looked like a river. It is a 4-bar mosaic, with each individual bar about 32 layers of 15n20 and W2.

thanks. this is my first attempt at a Swedish-style blade/knife. I think the blade is obviously influenced by their styling, but I have a little farther to go with the guard and handle ornamentation.

Then next one will be almost the same blade shape (I really love that blade shape), but with a handle that is stacked with different materials (pweld steel, wood, and antler). Plus, I think that a handle that has several different materials, would benefit from some filework at the transitions from one material to the next. Sort of like the groove on the guard.

There is a wealth of talent working in Sweden and in their style right now.
