river stream knife

Hi knifedogers.
Finally I got this finished. A traditional scandi type. This is my second river stream knife I do. The handle I did from beautiful flame birch i got from my old father from norh Finland. Also stabilized masur birch and brass. The blade i made forged high carbon steel 58 hrc and 10 cm length. Did also some filework to it and the river stream pattern. Overall length is 22 cm . . The type of the knife is hunting and allround wildlife. Sharp as my grandmoms tongue. lol.

Real nice looking knife. I've been wanting to do a Scandi style knife using a block of birdseye maple myself. Just haven't taken the plunge yet. The bolster is another piece of birch then a thin guard - right? Thanks for sharing.
