Rustic, (I hope)

Having made new friends and been inspired by them in Little Rock.
I came home and made this.

Steel is from an old wagon seat spring I found.
Scales are osage from an old root a friend gave me overlaid with copper.
Pins are bronze.
Hamon happened without any input from me.

Pretty slick looking blade Greg. I have had a hardening line just magically appear when using relatively unknown steels.

Every now and then you get one right, and that inspires you to make more.

Nice Job.............. Robert

Really nice blade. I like the copper overlay you put on the handle. It gives it a rustic elegance!!! Well done!!

I like it. I dont think I have ever seen an overlay on a handle before. I might have, but dont recall it. I also like the ponytail on the rear of the knife.

Thanks for the comments friends.
I like this one a lot, more than I thought I would.

Like the copper overlay a great deal and your choice of pin type. Can you tell me where you had the maker's mark fabricated?? Big hat tip on this knife. Damn well done!
