S35VN is supposed to be a straight up upgrade/replacement for S30V to solve the toughness issues some people were having.

Ive been wanting to get down there and get out on the lake for some striper fishing but Ive been too busy.

IIRC it is the continued improvement over S30V

Truthfully I doubt most could tell the difference

Crucible's S35VN is a collaboration between Crucible and Chris Reeves. From what I am reading it is an incredible steel. I am excited about using in my new knives.
