I just started this obsession about four months ago and love it .I posted my first knife that i did from the start a little bit ago and just wanted to give a little back ground to go with it .I work fro my grandad and we have a good size fab/machine/whatever walks in the door kind of place , so i have been around steel and that type stuff my whole life .
Here is the second knife i finished up last night It's 1095 with black Dymondwood and red micrati and bolted no glue as of now.
