I believe Seal leather along with all Marine mammal pelts & hide to be illegal to own buy or sell except for Native Inuit tribes people.
The Marine Mammals act of 72? BIG FINE! or JAIL! The have no sense of humor on this.

You can find legal leather that has been modified to mimic seal leather... I found a few Chinese and Japanese sources. Good luck.

May get hold of the Namibian company that tans the seal leather from the cull in Namibia never crossed my mind its illegal to own buy or sell in the USA
