Wrought Iron Bar This material was reclaimed by Liberty Salvage two years ago. From a local turn of the century mill building across the river in Lewiston. It forges very well with little or no splitting, has a very lively pattern and welds beautifully. We have 1 1/2"(6 lb./ft)and 1 3/4" round bar (8 pounds/ft). We also will forge down to size for you. The unforged bar is $4.00 per pound, call for forged pricing (207)777-3375. We have sold several thousand pounds to bladesmiths as well as blacksmiths for reproduction work.There is about 15 tons available.
