The photos below are of a semi skinner I recently completed. the blade is O1 steel and is 3 1/2" long. The handle is stabilized Spalted Tamarind. Overall length is 7 1/2". This was my first time working with stabilized wood and I am sold on it. The natural beauty of wood is still there, but in a more durable package. However, it does smell terrible when you are sanding it.
