I've been doing more and more flat grinds, so it was time to take the plunge right to the spine and make some kitchen knives. These are out of 52100 high carbon, with striped ebony handle scales, with stainless corby fasteners. It's hard to describe how sharp they are without using expletives. They're taken down to a .010 edge prior to sharpening and are a league beyond the regular big-box store knives. This model is going to go for $69 in black micarta/ATS 34 for the next run, I'm asking $200 for the set of 3 shown and will include USPS Priority Mail shipping.

As a disclaimer, these are high carbon steel with natural wood handle scales and will develop a patina, should not be left submerged or run through the dishwasher, and the handles should be waxed or oiled periodically.
