That brings up an interesting point for discussion Kevin, on how we present our kitchen knives for clients. I am not a big fan of knife blocks on the bench so made a 1 1/2 inch deep drawer right under the bench top that is 18 inches wide and have all the sharp knives in that with a secondary base having each knife's handle profile cut out so it holds the knife securely but I have a kitchen set under construction at the moment that will be for sale, and hadn't considered how to present them so this is a timely post. For those that put thier knives in the 2nd drawer down from the top - ie the utensils drawer, the sheath you have done is just the ticket.
What does everyone else do for the kitchen knives that are not in a presentation case?? Hope this in considered a furtherance of Kevins post and not a hijack.
