Short on work-space?

I got this in my inbox earlier and thought that some of you guys might have a need for something of the sort. I know I'm in the midst of building a large version of this place 2 drill presses, an HF band saw and my buffer. Hope it helps some one. This tip is thanks to Woodsmith's etips.

I may have to do something like that. I was wondering where I'd find space for a real buffer, particularly once my 2x72 shows up. It will take more space than the grinder it replaces so things will get even tighter on the bench. Something like this over on the side would be perfect.

Another suggestion I recently saw was to mount your buffer, vise(s), paper wheel sharpener, etc on a 3/4"x20"x20" board in the same manner, but cut out a 3/4" deep 20"x20" recessed hole in the counter top. Then, you can mount several tools on the same size board and drop them into the recess as needed storing the extra tools that are mounted on the 20"x20" boards on shelves close by.
I might do something like that as I have an 8'x16' foot shop that seems to be shrinking as I get it set up....

Funny that I see this now.

I spent an hour today designing just such a thing for a few of my lesser used tools. Disk grinder, buffer, carbide grinder, etc...
