Sleet

If anybody happens to run into Mother Nature would you please tell her that Alabama is supposed to be in the "Sunny South" and we don't do sleet! Alabama had a couple of rough days weather wise, especially yesterday, but now it's sleeting pretty heavy. I grew up in MA in the snow and was stationed in Germany for two tours for a total of eight years and don't really like snow anymore. I'd appreciate if you would pass that on to her. It's 6 PM in the Scottish Highlands and I just may have to have a little taste of some 18 year old single malt antifreeze in a little while to ward off the cold.

I remember living in Florida and getting sleet that was like gravel coming down from the sky.

Tom,
I don't do cold & snow well ether!
I moved to Boulder Colorado in my 20's and I didn't even last one winter.
It was really novel shoveling off the driveway & side walk for about a week or two?
It was February when I loaded up my truck called my doggie to hop in and it was back to mostly sunny California.
That single Malt sounds great! It's only about 63 degrees here today and that's cold enough for a snort!
