Small cutter and big cutter

Kampman Knives

Here 2 knives i have been working on.
The first one is little sturdy cutter wit a convex edge, tapered tang with scales from striped tiger maple and red copper pins.
Forged out of a triplet, center steel is an old file and the outer layers are 16th century wrought iron.
The bigger one is a Knife forged out of the same 16th century wrought iron with a forge welded cutting edge from modified CM60 steel.
I got some experimental scales for free from a knife supplier in trade for a picture of a knife with his material, in this case a 16th century stabilized bog oak wood what fits great with the old wrought iron out of the same date;)
I used red copper to forge a guard and for the pins, added a but cap from buffalo horn and made some extra red copper pins to get it stuck at the scales.
Hope you like it, cheers Igor.

Kampman,
I don't know why there have been no comments on these because they look fantastic. Maybe all of the other posters already commented on them on the other forum where I first saw them. Very nice work.
