Small game knife

This small game knife is my third finished project. It is my second partial tang knife. Constructive criticism welcome.

Forged/ground 1075
8" overall 3 1/2" blade
Partial tang construction with natural sambar stag handle
Blued fittings nickle silver pin

I like the whole design and execution, especially the recasso area with the guard shape, red spacer and pin placement.

How did you put the lines in the butt cap?

The lines are reflected from the bamboo mat. Now that you mention it though, it would be a real neat effect to pursue that pattern in the steel itself.
