Hello,

I'v started working on this order a few days ago, it's a bit more "fantasy" then what i usually make, but it's fun to go wild once in a while :)

overall: 40cm
blade: O1 4mm
cutting edge: 24cm
handle: snakewood and 1.5mm copper liner with copper pins.

Laurence, the copper liner is going to be protruding from the wood scales, no bolster.
 
some more work done on the liner, it would be patinated eventually.

Dwane, the texture is made by running the copper on a wire wheel, like orange peel on Ti.

and liners are patinated in Cupric Sulfate + Ammonium Chloride

That is a great WIP thanks for sharing. The knife turned out fantastic. I like the copper patina and the snake wood.
