snakewood scimitar-WIP

Hello,

I'v started working on this order a few days ago, it's a bit more "fantasy" then what i usually make, but it's fun to go wild once in a while

overall: 40cm
blade: O1 4mm
cutting edge: 24cm
handle: snakewood and 1.5mm copper liner with copper pins.

Laurence, the copper liner is going to be protruding from the wood scales, no bolster.

How did you texture the copper liners ?

Dwane, the texture is made by running the copper on a wire wheel, like orange peel on Ti.

logo and name etched

finnished to 1500 then buffed

blade is finished to 2000

and liners are patinated in Cupric Sulfate + Ammonium Chloride
