Finished this one up. W2 nakiri, with a curly rosewood handle. It is an integral,and has a hamon, but a photographer I am not, so it doesn’t show up well. This blade is “S” ground, and super thin. The majority of the blade is only .020 thick. Spine is .093. I made my own varnish for the handle by cooking rosin and linseed oil together. I like it, but I think I’m going to make a new batch with copal in it too. Thanks for looking.

That is a good looking knife - With the thin blade profile I'll bet it's a slicer! What wood is that? I do like the bolster. Even if that's the "one of two" knives you made each yr it sure looks like a professional made knife.
