100_0139.jpg100_0141.jpg100_0137.jpgsomeone wanted to see my stock redmoval knives, this is the only one i have left here. the others have new homes. i had to fund the tools i needed for forging.lost pics of others can't find the memory stick they were on. any way i couldnt part with this one.gunsmoke tribute, kinda matched matt's 44/40. wife gave it the gunsmoke part. bone stag handle 1080 carbon steel.
 
Nice work Dewey. Makes me want to make make more hidden tangs- can't beat that classic look. I Like the blood groove and brass parts.
 
thanks, i loved it so much i couldn't let it go. best knife in the house and i have a large number of high end knives. the blood groove was cut with a dremel and die grinder. i made a guide and locked the blade in a vise to cut it. al in all i thought it came out well.
