Stripped 2-56 clip screws

Are they Torx? If so, I've had success with using a torx bit one or 2 sizes bigger, and tapping the bit/driver in gently with a mallet until it's wedged in pretty tight, then a firm twist.

actually, I should clarify more...are the heads stripped, or the actual screw threads?
 
The heads are stripped and they are Torx.
