Struggling with makers mark

I have gone back on forth in the name logo issue but alas, even a flounder chooses a side so here goes. As long as your mark and or business name leads easily back to you then I think you are fine. If you internet search Redeemer Forge you will find it and by proxy me. I do not put my name on my work (blacksmith or knives) Much like Gruff I chose an important name to represent my work. I did make several searches to determine that the title Redeemer Forge would not lead to another person before I formed my LLC under that name so I could be sure the connection would lead to me. Whatever you pick do the same and you could be reasonably sure the connection through social media will be to you no matter the name you choose. By the way I like “Tusker Knives” because nothing will cut you like a boar tusk. You do not have to pay me for that.

If just going with initials...try putting the initials "inside"...it looks like plenty of room there now...and ditch the upper neck line that I suggested earlier? Your earlier design is cleanest I think.hoghead.jpg

I tried that before but didn’t like it on the head. I think it takes away from the head. You were right in about getting rid of the neck. I could do this. Half inside 9B3D32E0-A011-43EE-A861-1B7FB82AA7EB.jpeg

That is good advice Chris. I love the flounder analogy . Tusker Knives is not bad. I was actually going to ask people ideas. The winner would get a nice set of scale wood or something.
Some of my ideas were
Hogs Breath Blades
Iron Hog Blades
Steel Hog Blades
Black Hog Blade is already taken. jerk lol
Hog Tusk Knives

The one thing I might mention is that with too much emphasis on the pig/hog theme and while I like the hogs head logo, attaching a name that singles out pigs may lead people to think that you specialise in the pig butchering side of knife making and dissuade them from seeking you out for other types of blades.
For that reason I am inclined to think that the Barone Blades or similar non pig related name will give a more universal knifemaker feel in print

Razor Back Knives. or, Razor Back Blades :D

Ok I'm really liking this name. I don't see another company named it so that's good. Is a razor back blade a specific knife, like a skinner or hunter? I hope not I would like to use the name and spare the group any more hog posts. I"ll even give you 50 % of the company. I'm in debt for about a thousand so you owe me 500.

I like razor back knives best...because I like the sound of RBK better'n RBB...both names are good...Steves got da gift!

best I could do was Bacon Grease Forge...

That's funny right there ! thanks for the indeptness ha ha!
I think Boars Head Brand was great but we know that's been used, I could imagine boars head brand "could maybe" object to you using that logo because it's kind of resembles theirs but I don't think they'd be bothered, there's just too many hog heads and skulls being used out there in the market. it's not like a Harley logo profile. plus your not selling cold cuts. ......your not selling cold cuts are you? :D

Seen your Mark Retroguy,I like playing with my graphics art program so I thought I would throw a few placements for your Initials.Hope you don't mind.
