KNIFE MAKER
Some before and afters of a trench knife and another small blade restored for a friend who is from EU and brought them from there. Big one is an Austrian trench knife of WW1 vintage made in Austria or Hungary. It is around 100 years old.
It was so rusted part of the edge was gone and original handles rotted and burned. It required straightening, regrinding, and metal treatment on the rust that was too deep to grind off. Put on rosewood slabs and new SS pins in handle.
Blade is 8" and 13" overall and is a pretty wicked looking with a design basically for warfare. A serious blade-
Small one is a little stag kitchen or ? that is very old and had a broken tip. Made a sheath for it too.
