Hey all, finished my first culinary knife. It's the first time I've tried to create a hamon. It's the first blade I hardened before grinding the primary bevels. I made it as a gift for a friends 80th birthday.
13" Overall
8" Blade
ground from 1095
Copper bolsters and base
Brass pins throughout
Zebra wood handle and block (grain matched)
i know of a couple of boo boos. Input welcome if ya have any thoughts.
