I have been using windex or baking soda to nuetralize FeCl, but I finally got some TSP. It is in granular form. How should I mix it? I have two PVC tubes set up that are 4 x ~15" one is for FeCl and Ive been keeping the other for the TSP. With that volume what should the mixture be?
Thanks

Sean

I mix it as a saturated solution..... fill your neutralizing tank with water (you can use plain tap water for the neutralizing tank).....then little, by little, stir in the TSP until no more will dissolve.....then you have a saturated solution. I've been using the same tank of neutralizing solution for about 4 years now.

Just to let you guys know, Ed was right on the money. (Imagine that:))
And it didnt take near as much as I thought it would.

I noticed on my box of TSP that it says not to let it come into contact with glass, but gives no explanation. Anybody know why that is?

I don't believe it is corrosive to glass. I think it just leaves a residue that can be a serious pain to remove.
