Tungston Carbide Blade

Does anyone have any experience with sharping a tungsten carbide blade , a friend of mine does pottery in New England and has some Tungsten Carbon blades he uses for trimming his green ware . I though he could use a belt grinder but wanted some more opinions.

From everything I know he will need to use a diamond wheel on a grinder. Diamonds are the only thing harder than carbide.
