I finished a couple knives that will be given as gifts to a customers sons. They are alike in profile but I used different file work and handle material on each of the blades.

He gottem, was very happy with them, "man, wait till you see what Gary did", 2thumbsbut he didn't have them with him. He said he'd bring them in Tuesday. Thanked me again for introducing you to him. Again. cool 1

Thanks guys. I had never made two knives that were alike in profile before. Never thought I wanted to but it was a fun project. I wish I could see the faces of the young men when they receive their knives. I hope the knives serve them well for many years.
 
I saw them today. Really nice set Squawsach. The new owner is more that pleased, as he should be. They feel great in hand, really sweet units. Fit and finish excellent, wood and file work are top knotch. He is going to give one to each of his boys on their 18th birthday, that is what he indicated today, he sure wasn't letting me have one. :-(
