A man at work has a two fixed blade. It is broken just behind the guard. I have access to welding. Can I weld in this area with harm to the hardness. Or do I need to protect it with something. Thanks.
You need to protect the blade. The most simple way is to take a thick slice of potatoe and slide it up to close to where the weld will be. It does work great !!! Frank
