Verse of the day

Amen to that. When you read that verse, you realise the cost of His sacrifice, yet He was willing to endure all for us, to free us. And He had the end picture in view while doing this.

Thanks for the verses, Von. My ministry is like the passage: I have a great opportunity...and there are many adversaries..(1 Cor 16:9, personal paraphrase). What I have to deal with doesn't take anything away from me, only adds to me the "likeness of Christ." I'm like him now, dealing with the "shame" and I'll share that glory, being with Him and the Father forever. What feels like a hard place to be, becomes a good, even the right, place to be.

John 15:16

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
