W2 and Oosik Bowie

Hello Dogs,
Here's one I'm just finishing up. 10" W2 blade is double ground, clay hardened for hamon and acid etched for patina.
Guard, ferrules and pommel are damascus. Handle is Oosik from Mark Knapp and stabilized by WSSI.

These are some dry fit pics. Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking.

I like what you have done on the blade grinds; it adds much to the overall look IMHO. Lovely handle and guard presentation. Just a beauty all around . I would be proud to own such a fine knife.

Wow, thanks Fred. I'm glad you like it. The grind was a spur of the minute decision and I
wasn't sure it would be considered "correct" by knowledgeable knife folks.

Thanks again.

I too like what you did with the grind, and the patina of the blade and fittings goes well with the oosik.

Thanks George. Glad you like it. I've really enjoyed doing this one.
Your "Diablo" is wicked.

Take care,
David
