Restored these two Western G46-6's which may have been WWII Marine issue knives but suspect they are post-war variants as they lack the blood groove that most issue knives had. One was quite rusted so was sand blasted and the other needed a new pommel which was made of 3/16" D2 and fixed broken tip and cold blued them. Both had missing red, black or leather spacers and one needed a sheath so made one. They are a bit butt heavy with the big pommels but sharpened good and seemed like a little better steel than some Westerns.
