Ive got a new etcher made, but dont have any solution. What do you guys use other than the store bought stuff? Ive hear of using salt water, what types of ratios salt to water?

Thanks and God Bless

I use a tablespoon or so in a drinking cup of warm water. Works just fine, and it's all but free. :)

I'd say try just salt water first on a scrap piece, and see what you think. I wouldn't over-analyze it too much. The main purpose of the etching fluid is just to carry the current, and salt water does that really well.
